- I wash my face and make sure it is clean and dry before using the device.
- You need to plug the cable with the device to turn it on (the green light will show). But first of all, I just apply the preparation gel with a thin layer all over the face (avoid eye contact). If you are using it for the first time, it might be good to use the low RF mode. It should show you one green bar. Once you have more experiences and feel comfortable with it, you can switch to the other level, showing you two green bars.
- You then simply make slow circular motions on your cheeks; they will start to feel warm, and it’s totally normal and safe. I apply a little pressure to make sure the electrodes are really in contact with the skin. Once you hear a beep and the light shows orange, it means you have reached the optimal temperature. You can then continue to the rest of the skin for around 4-5 min.
- The next step is to treat the jawline, and you should switch to RF+DMA mode (blue bars will then show on the device) and use slow linear motions this time. I spend about 4 mins on each side of the face.
- It is essential to wash your face to remove the gel after each use. I also gently wipe the device from the excess gel with a damp cloth (do not wet it).

Here are few tips for using the STOP Vx device:
- Use only a THIN layer of the preparation to avoid the electrodes being fully covered by the gel. It will affect the heat transmission.
- If the orange light is not on, try to move the device in SLOW circular motions.
- Do not use the device on the eyelids/eyeball area and thyroid area.
