When we come to DC we are obviously super happy to see L’s brother and his wife and our cute little nephew, we don’t get to see them very often so it’s nice to be able to see them everyday for a week (or two, this time we are lucky they have a week off after fashion week so we are all going to the Caribbean to see my father in law)
When in DC we love to spend time in Georgetown, it’s small and cute, has all the shops needed (for me of course) and really nice restaurants (our favourite: J Pauls, they have truffled mac and cheese) We love to get a little cupcake at Georgetown cupcakes it’s a classic and they are delicious. You can get some of the best juice at Jrink Juicery downtown. We also always go to wave hello at the White House as it’s an obvious stop. My go to outfit in DC is rather chic and simple which is how I would describe people in Georgetown. I often just wear a nice pair of trousers or denim and a cute J Crew cardigan with cute shoes or trainers for a good walk.
Don’t forget shopping wise my pit stops are J Crew, Loft, Madewell, Kate Spade and then Nordstrom and Nordstrom rack for all the other brands I love.
