It's time for a little Food Friday ... This place was a winner, we walked past it once or twice while in Barcelona and thought it looked so cute. One day we sat down for lunch, the little terrace outside had the cutest tables and chairs. We knew it was good food and quick snacks but did not expect to look so fancy in the presentation. We both had bagels, Lewis had his with vegetables and a nice little soup type. Mine was filled with scrambled eggs and avocado, isn't my ice cream avocado so cute?! I had a delicious…
Summer styles
Spring is finally here and hope it's staying, we are having an amazing weather here in London and it feels really good walking without a coat and enjoying the Cherry blossoms in the parks. I am sharing two of my go to looks for this season, I love wearing casual clothing and feeling comfortable and simple so this Tibi off the shoulder top is perfect for summer days and a cool pair of boyfriend denim shorts from Maison Scotch is exactly what I go for on a cool day! Second look is a bit more fun, I paired this gorgeous…
Foundation lately
Good morning! Today I am only going to talk about foundation, and how hard it is to find the right one for your skin. I have been using Vichy for a long time now, I have most of their latest products and it keeps my 'city' skin pretty fresh and moist on a daily basis. Sadly as most girls I find it hard leaving the house with no makeup, so I need a good foundation that will keep me feel comfortable and also will allow my skin to breath properly. I also hate looking orange so any foundation I receive…
City guide: Barcelona
Barcelona was not particularly on my list of places to go asap but for some reasons it sounded like a lot of fun to escape the city for a few days and discover what turned out to be one of my favourite place ever. We were only for 4 days well 3 and half because somehow Ryanair was delayed for like 2 hours (seriously we got stuck on the plane in the middle of the runway for 2h) anyway it's the fun of travelling right?! We had an amazing time, the weather was so lovely I mean I think May…
Food Friday: Flax and Kale Barcelona
Food Friday is about a really special place this week, I have had an amazing time in Barcelona a few weeks ago, I love to travel so much, discover a new country, a new culture and especial food habits. I really wanted to go for lunch at Flax and Kale and I am so glad I went. The menu was so fresh and inspiring, everything was healthy and delicious. They had an amazing selection of juices, all of them being raw fruits and vegetables and also gluten free. You can find the full selection over here I chose the Antiox (Orange,…
Denim talk
Good morning readers Hope you are well with this beautiful sunshine (well in London it's sunny for once) Spring is finally here I hope and it's about time to do a spring cleaning in my closet, I was looking at my denim collection the other day and realised I had quite a few but never enough. I thought it would be fun to share with you my favourite denim brands and what I look for when I buy a pair. First of all I never buy denim online, that's just personal but I need to try a pair or if…
Street style in Shoreditch
One of my last wintery look for the blog, I have had more than enough to wear winter clothes, dark clothes and so on. Even if the weather is still not perfection I refuse to wear anymore of my winter clothes. I will actually be clearing my clothes this spring when I am back in London, I do not want that many clothes when we move to our new home. The day we shot this was freezing, Danielle (Fashionista Barbie) and I were dying of cold yet when the sun was around it was boiling hot, welcome to England. So…
Rose lace in Paris
[easy-image-collage id=5284] [easy-image-collage id=5285] This dress right? I am obsessed with chic lace especially in a dress, not sure I would wear lace differently. This one is from the latest collection of Ted Baker as well as the little lady bag, my hair was perfect for a girl day in Paris and it was done by 365c a braid bar in Paris if you guys want to have your hair done in Paris. Thanks to ShopStyle we were pampered and pretty everyday. Paris is forever one of my favourite place, not sure I would live there although a full summer…
Paris blues
Look one from Paris Fashion Week, I loved that day with my mom wandering around the city from museum to museum. We went to Le Petit Palais and Orsay and Orsay is always one of my favourite place to go and relax and enjoy a nice cup of coffee with a wonderful view. I am wearing a cute blue soft vest from Beaumont Organic, Furla handbag from Zalando (so handy when it's that small) and this gorgeous Ted Baker blouse. Enjoy xo S.
Packing a carry on
The art of packing is not something I master to be honest, I always take way too many shoes and I don't wear half the clothes I pack. I have however tried to come up with a few tips and tricks that help my in the packing process. (pieces in the top photo: Les 100 ciels mint dress and white jumper, Finlay &co sunnies, Next shoes, New Look shorts) I start by making outfits according to what I want to wear, what the weather will be like and also according to some locations I found in the city. Gotta match…
