My friends and I recently gathered for lunch at this cute place called Jean Jacques in the heart of Soho. It was so nice to be able to sit down for a few hours and have a proper catch up with the girls, we often see each other at events and meetings but don’t often take the time to relax and have a good laugh.
We had a fabulous time and the food was exquisite, I started with the White bean veloute soup with truffle oil, I am a big fan of truffle oil it’s super tasty and I usually add it on my pasta to give a little fancy taste!
While Vikki and I had the wonderful soup Elena and Whitney had this delicious salad with pear walnut and blue cheese … (big fan of blue cheese over here)
It was then followed by either a hake and tomato fondue or a roasted Guinea fowl with cabbage, lardons and this sumptuous jus roti (no need to go back to France when you have that)
We finished our meal with a Vacherin of raspberry sorbet and mix winter berries which was the ‘cherry on top of the cake’
I want to thank the girls for always making me laugh so much, Elena for organising this lunch and of course Jean Jacques Soho for having us and for being so patient when it comes to bloggers taking a million photos during their meal!
Cheers to Jean Jacques!
