Escaping life for one day, taking the boat, hair blowing in the wind, skin darker, hair lighter, water warmer, days longer, music louder … that’s what I call summer. We are half way through summer almost being at the end of July and I am not ready to let go of summer just yet. I wear a lot of white during summer and I am considering wearing a lot more white this winter (actually looking for a cook cocoon coat in white if anyone knows of any) There is something about feeling refreshed and lighter wearing white don’t you think?
I love the city but I miss the sea ever so much, you know in the film Sweet Home Alabama (called Fashion Victim in French god knows why) she says ‘ My life in New York works, Jake. But then I come down here… and this fits too’ well sometimes I feel like this London works so well I love it but France fits too sometimes … It’s nice to go back to your old memories and enjoy family and friends for a while especially in the summer. I intend on going a lot more often this year just to catch up more and give me a place to switch off from the hustle and bustle that London has to offer.
Yesterday was my birthday and thank you all for the lovely wishes, I have been spoilt has usual and had a fantastic dinner at the top of the Gherkin. Thanks to my wonderful husband!
