Hello Monday,
Boy I hate mondays, the hubby goes back to work and especially today because the weather is grey and dull. I am going to be sharing Spring outfits from now on as I have no more ideas for the winter so imagine the sun beaming on your skin. I love a good pencil skirt, J Crew have the best ones this is a classic I bought ages ago and it’s perfect for quite a few occasions. Office workers can easily wear it with a blazer and a shirt for a classic/work look. I don’t work in an office (well mine doesn’t count it has gold polka dot) I prefer to wear mine a bit more casual, I wore a long sleeve cotton tee from J Crew underneath (again best basic from J Crew).
Instead of adding a blazer I thought a short little jacket would go well with the rest of the look, this mint colour is one of my favourite shade this season, I see it everywhere and it’s perfect for weddings or everyday life. I bought this one a while ago at Nordstrom and I wear it with high waisted skirts or shorts and sometimes with denim. I am so going to pair this little jacket with a white tee and a white pair of denim it will make a slight pop but still really fresh and bright for the spring summer. We were lucky this weekend was really bright and sunny and warm enough to wear this look. We did not do much this weekend we only just got back from holiday so less spending money and we had tones of washing and cleaning to do at home but on Saturday we headed to Chelsea one of our favourite neighbourhood to have brunch … god I love Brunching!!
We then had a lovely walk under the sun and stopped at Kate Spade and J Crew to see the new collection … I always love their collections but this one HELLO to die for. I have seen so many things I want in their it’s insane. I will be sharing the new collection from Kate Spade next week hope you will enjoy it as much as me.
I don’t often wear pencil skirts but I am loving them more and more, why don’t I wear them? because you always have to wear them with heels and I am not so comfortable with them damn heels you see what I mean? I am a lady lady but god if I could live in Converse all my life 😉 So I have decided to add a goal to my list for this year: Learn how to wear heels properly and therefor wear more pencil skirts.
