Good morning upper east siders, Gossip Girl here (not just kidding only me I should really stop hanging out on the steps of the Met like a certain queen B)
Writing from a coffee shop Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf because we don’t have wifi in the apartment (out of luck) anyway a nice break from internet just chilling with the hubby watching films and eating chocolate. So I won’t be too long it’s late and it’s -16 degrees C I am wearing 3 cashmeres and two pairs of tights under my jeans … I shot this look in the morning it was -9 and I was freezing my b** off but it had to be done! It’s Fashion Week in the city this week and everyone is looking fancy but cold let me tell you. We had a lovely two days so far though we had coffee with Carly from the College Prepster she was just as adorable as on emails.
I have always loved pink but never dared wearing it just felt too barbie looking in France but now I don’t care about what people think, if they like it great if they don’t that’s fine too each to their own taste! I bought this coat at Nordstrom on major sale and I am loving it! My skirt is the new J Crew spring collection and I wish I could wear it without tights right now (SPRING ISSSSS AROUND THE CORNER) certainly not around the corner of where we live in NYC it’s colder by each block …
