How is everyone after this first week back to school and back to routine? I personally know Liam and I are super tired, I forgot how much we run around on a daily basis! Can’t complain though it’s been a good work week for myself and Liam is rather happy to be back playing with friends at pre-school, plus I have my gorgeous hair colour that still makes happy.
I was very lucky to be invited at the beautiful Terry Gilham Hair spa back in July and this was the perfect 30th birthday little treat! I wanted to go lighter and Terri made it happen, I have quite dark roots and it can be hard to get lighter without turning completely orange. She has walked me through the process and has been wonderful! I had a very relaxing time and also very friendly atmosphere. I know it’s still a bit daunting for a lot of people to get their hair done or get a treatment at a spa but Terri has made the necessary changes to make everyone feel safe yet relaxed.
I had a lovely bottle of water waiting for me and she also offered me a code to read magazines online which is super handy! I had the best time after my hair wash in the lovely massage chair … did not really want to leave to be honest.
I love that Terri also specialise in Bridal hair because she has that sense of luxury and glamour! It completely reflected on the work she has done on me! I went for a full Balayage and she added some lovely blond shade even under my hair so when I have my hair in a bun (as mums do) it shows through which is so pretty! She treated me to a lovely Olaplex treatment too and my hair felt so smooth and healthy.
I had a balayage and the roots and she added a gloss toner to the roots to avoid adding a colour that will need maintenance in the near future. My balayage should stay lovely for a while and all I might need to do is roots touch up in say 6 months time which is so lovely as it’s less time consuming and also cheaper on the long run. She uses the TIGI products which smell divine and make your hair feel so soft. I had a nice little healthy cut too which was needed.
I absolutely love having a little pamper time at the hairdresser (I will you in on a secret I fall asleep when someone dries my hair, especially as she uses the wonderful Dyson hairdryer) haha I do feel so grateful to have had a wonderful experience at the salon!

I love the fact she also offer extensions (my next trial one day to try and make my hair longer for some lovely braids). The salon is in Ashford in the beautiful Courtyard area near a lovely restaurant and other lovely businesses, the environment is very luxurious and give that lovely countryside vibe for anyone coming from outside of Ashford, only 38min from London and also 30 min drive from Maidstone.
