A few last articles with my watermelon stomach haha
I have been rubbish at styling maternity looks, it’s really hard to get dressed on a daily basis but imagine for a blogger. I said when I got pregnant ‘I will not buy any pregnancy clothes’ and well I did not, I bought two jeans with a size up, a couple of chunky jumpers (like I love them during the winter normally) and then my maternity legging from Marks and Spencer £12 and super thick honestly best purchase ever. I will keep wearing it in the future I think to be honest.
The good thing about being pregnant in the winter is that jumpers fit like a glove and I can wear my legging with everything and every pair of boots I own (which is a lot) However until end of November I did not quite think about coats … Oh you know who wears coats in the winter right?!
Well as we moved in November and found our boxes I went through my coats and realised none of them fitted me … well they fit but I can’t close them so not ideal to protect my tummy considering it’s always where I am cold when we are out … So I had to layer like crazy underneath.
I got this amazing Chateau J Crew coat for Christmas from my parents and I was so happy, I had been dreaming of it for so long, I wish I could own every colour (the nude is stunning as well or white) Anyway I thought it was quite of an investment coat with its price so I needed to get a size that would fit me when I am not pregnant (don’t intend on being prego for the next 5 years haha) I went for the US2 and thought well I will at least have the coat even if i can’t wear it and believe it or not I can close it SCORE!
J Crew is having some major sale at the moment and it won’t last a little bird told me their Spring collection is hitting the web at the end of this month so hurry!

Pour être honnête je n’ai pas été très douée pour donner un style aux « looks » maternité! pas facile en temps normal de varier les tenues chaque jour mais imaginez ce qu’il en est pour une bloggeuse!
Quand j’ai appris que j’étais enceinte, j’avais pris la décision de ne pas acheter de vêtements de grossesse et bien c’est ce que j’ai fait! J’ai acheté deux jeans une taille au dessus de la mienne, deux pulls à grosses mailles (tels que je les aime habituellement en hiver) et puis un legging maternité d’une bonne épaisseur de chez Marks and Spencer – à £12 ( une quinzaine d’euros )- vraiment un super bon achat ce legging que je porterai par la suite assurément.
Le bon coté des choses à être enceinte en hiver est que les pulls amples vous vont comme un gant et en ce qui me concerne je peux porter mon legging avec tout style de vêtement et toute paire de bottes ou bottines (ce qui n’est pas rien!).
Et pour tout avouer il faut dire que je n’ai pas vraiment pensé manteau avant la fin du mois de novembre….d’ailleurs franchement qui porte des manteaux en hiver???
Et bien quand nous avons déménagé en novembre, en ouvrant les cartons et en retrouvant les manteaux, j’ai réalisé qu’aucun d’entre eux ne m’allait, disons que je ne pouvais pas les fermer, donc pas l’idéal pour protéger mon ventre et comme c’est cette partie de mon corps qui ne supporte pas bien le froid, il m’a fallu superposer nombre de couches de vêtements.
Alors mes parents m’ont offert pour Noël ce magnifique manteau « Chateau J Crew » dont j’avais souvent rêvé et j’en suis très heureuse. Si seulement d’ailleurs je pouvais l’avoir dans des tons différents. (la couleur chair ou même le blanc sont vraiment très beaux).
Comme il s’agit d’un réel investissement j’avais donc besoin d’une taille qui me conviendrait après ma grossesse (à priori je ne compte pas être enceinte avant quelque temps, ?) J’ai donc choisi la taille 2 US car j’avais décidé que je voulais ce manteau même si je ne pouvais le porter de suite. Et bien vous ne me croirez pas!!….. je peux le fermer! gagné!
J. Crew fait des soldes monstres en ce moment et mon petit doigt m’a dit que cela ne va pas durer, leur collection de printemps va faire la une sur le net à la fin de ce mois-ci donc un conseil pas de temps à perdre!
